The Vaisala HMP3 is a multipurpose RH&T probe that may be used with transmitters from the Indigo 200 series for common laboratory applications and the Indigo 500 series for more demanding, industrial installations. The probe head houses the electronics and calibration. For duct installations, for instance, the sensor-equipped probe is attached to a cable (a duct mounting kit is also available).
The Vaisala HMP3 can be utilized as a standalone digital Modbus RTU transmitter via RS-485 serial bus in addition to indigo interaction. Vaisala Insight PC Software, which enables data visualization and calibration, can be used to setup it. As standard, Vaisala HMP3 probes include a manufacturer calibration certificate.
