The RTEMP8 is an infrared thermometer covering -76 to 1,400 °C (-60 to 760 °F) with a 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio and ±1 °C accuracy. It runs on two AAA batteries, has adjustable emissivity (set to 0.95) and a one-second response time. Applications Snap-on lists include catalytic converter, tyre, brake and HVAC duct temperature checks.
