This 8-Point 3/4" drive impact socket, IMDS646, is sized 1-7/16" and runs 2-3/4" in length, with 2-1/16" of bolt clearance depth. Heat treatment and a set broach depth are the points Snap-on stresses for this impact socket: low hardness for repeated impact blows, and a depth that starts the nut on the stud.
