Rawlplug R-STUDS-16240-88HD combines class 8.8 steel with a hot-dip galvanised finish in an M16 x 240 mm hex-head rod. The thicker zinc coating gives more corrosion protection than standard plating, so the stud suits exposed and damp locations. Ten rods are supplied per cardboard box, and Rawlplug lists concrete, brick, clay block and aerated concrete among the base materials.
