The Pi Tape P1SP covers outside diameters of 2–24 in, reading in inches to a stated tolerance of ±0.001 in, and is made from 1095 spring steel. It is used to measure the O.D. of round parts directly, giving consistent and repeatable results across the 2–24 in span. With a starting point of 2 in, the P1SP uses the standard 0.010 in (0.25 mm) material thickness.
