The Palmer Wahl WST-03 is an elevated wire sensor for the Wahl ST2200 soldering iron tester, made from a welded Type K thermocouple wire on support posts in a glass filled Teflon body. It is the sensor to use when an iron tip does not suit the WST-02 or WST-02B solder bead sensors. Because the wire is raised, the operator can read the temperature at an exact point on the tip, with any tip size.
