The TC813 from Palmer Wahl is a bolt-on surface probe intended for continuous temperature monitoring. It is offered as a Type J or Type K thermocouple and fixes to the workpiece with a rigid stainless steel washer, 5/8 in in diameter and 1/8 in thick. The probe withstands hazardous environments and temperatures up to 1600 °F.
