The TC809 is the handle-only part of Palmer Wahl's heavy duty Type K surface probe system. It takes snap-in, replaceable tips carrying a spring-loaded miniature Z-tip in a ceramic housing, and the tips are interchangeable. The shank is 5 in as standard or 12 in as TC809-12, and the handle is ordered together with the required tip.
