The Palmer Wahl 440_Labels are special unmarked security Temp-Plate® labels in the micro round 7.62 mm (0.30 in) format. None of the four indicator positions is printed with a temperature; instead the customer selects any four available points between 37 and 176 °C (100 and 350 °F), and a legend packed in each box identifies them. Each position turns permanently black at its rating, so the label is well suited to spotting warranty-related overheating in electronics without revealing the trip points.
