Palmer Wahl's 221 RTD probe has a 5/8 in stem ending in a 7/16 in tapered bulb, shaped to fit thermowells designed for mercury-in-glass thermometers, as commonly found in food processing. It connects with a 1.25-18 swivel nut and uses a 100 Ω platinum RTD rated to 400°F. Stems come in 3.5, 6, 9 and 12 in lengths.
