The Palmer Wahl 117 Series test thermowell (1170_Series) has a 0.437 in bore and 1/2 in-14 NPS internal thread. It is intended for test points where mechanical or electronic probes and liquid-in-glass thermometers, with or without armour cases, are inserted, with heat transfer liquid or paste if needed. Palmer Wahl recommends ordering test wells with an attached cap and chain to keep debris out when not in use.
