Mitutoyo 148-864 is a 0–13 mm analog micrometer head with 0.01 mm graduation and a flat spindle end. 148-864 has a 9.5 mm clamp-nut stem (6 mm fixture thickness at the nut). The thimble is zero-adjustable: loosening its setscrew allows zero to be set at any position within 0–13 mm, with a clamp-nut stem and a spindle lock and reverse reading. For 148-864, the measuring face is hardened steel (>60 HRC) and the spindle pitch is 0.5 mm.
