This 0–13 mm head, 148-853, is graduated in 0.01 mm steps and has a spherical, SR4 radius spindle end. 148-853 has a 9.5 mm plain stem. A setscrew in the thimble frees it for re-zeroing at any point of the 0–13 mm travel. Its hardened steel (>60 HRC) measuring face works with a 0.5 mm pitch (148-853).
