Covering 5-6 in with 0.001 in graduation, the Mitutoyo 126-142 is an analogue screw thread micrometer that reads pitch diameter directly, with no calculation, once a matched pair of optional anvil and spindle tips is fitted. Tips are available for metric/unified and Whitworth threads.

- Ratchet stop on the 126-142 for an even measuring force
- Spindle lock with a Ø6.35 mm spindle and 0.635 mm spindle pitch
