Matherne Electronic Deadline Sensor | 100,000 lb Capacity, 4-20 mA Output
The Matherne Electronic Deadline Sensor measures drill line tension by clamping directly onto the deadline, so there is no need to cut the cable or fit a deadline anchor. It accepts wire rope from 7/8 in to 2 in diameter without modification and uses strain gauge measurement for loads up to 100,000 lb (45,360 kg). The standard 4-20 mA signal can be wired to PLCs, PCs and other monitoring equipment on the rig.
