For surface readings up to +600 °C, the Martindale TT8K (part number MARTT8K) uses a wide spring-loaded tip that keeps good contact with the surface being measured. It is a Type K probe with a range of -50 °C to +600 °C, dimensions of Ø6 x 130 mm with a 100 mm probe length, and a part-coiled lead, and works with any compatible K-type thermometer.
