The KERN OBT 102 is a monocular compound microscope for teaching, with a 10x eyepiece (18 mm field) and achromatic 4×, 10× and 40× objectives on a four-position nosepiece. Illumination is a dimmable 1 W LED transmitted light, and the finite optical system uses an Abbe condenser with a 1.25 aperture.
