The KERN OBS 113 is a monocular school microscope with finite optics, a 10x eyepiece (18 mm field) and achromatic 4x, 10x and 40x objectives on a four-position nosepiece. A 0.5 W LED lights the sample by transmitted light, and an Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25, fixed) concentrates it.
