Flexbar 17023 is the Sensing-Saf-Start in the 20 in cord version. It provides anti-automatic restart protection without a magnetic motor starter: if power to the equipment is interrupted, the unit opens the circuit so the machine does not restart when power returns. A sensing circuit checks whether the machine switch is still on; if it is, pressing reset gives a warning buzz and the circuit stays open until the switch is turned off.
