For lathes with a flat-topped headstock, Flexbar offers the 17004, the Style 4 top-mounting version of its Electrical Interlocking Mounting Bracket. Once connected to the motor-control circuit, its cam-driven switch breaks the circuit as soon as the guard is lifted, so the machine stops. It is used in place of the existing bracket on Flexbar Latheguards and Small Chuckguards.
