Flexbar 15001 is Autostic in the thin, spray-on viscosity. Autostic is an inorganic ceramic compound presented by Flexbar as an alternative to two-part epoxy adhesives; it bonds, fills and coats, and adheres to keyless surfaces such as polished glass to polished silver. Listed uses include coating motor windings in place of shellac, glass-to-metal and metal-to-metal bonding, sealing castings and high temperature caulking.

- Bonds, fills, coats and acts as a heat and abrasion barrier
- Impervious to oil, gasoline, acids and alkalis, including concentrated sulfuric acid
- Electrical insulation for AC or DC, up to 20 radio MHz
- Mouldable in polyethylene, PTFE or nylon moulds; can be machined, drilled, tapped and sawn
- Shrinkage less than 1%; will not attack metals
