Flexbar 13570 is the drill/chuck shield on Flexbar's 3-axis universal mount interlocked system, with a 6 in W x 6 in H x 4 in D shield. It is used to guard the hazardous machining area on mills, drill presses and similar machines.
Key features
- 3-axis adjustment: up and down, side to side, in and out
- Mounting bracket on the horizontal post fixes to the headstock
- Vertical post passes through Flexbar's electrical interlocking device
- Swinging the shield away opens the limit switch contacts and stops the machine
Includes attached wiring with flexible conduit for connection to the machine's safety circuit, which switches off control of spindle movement.
