With a 3 metre lead, the ETI 133-352 type K food simulant probe lets the thermometer or logger sit well away from the fridge or cold room while the probe stays inside. Its intentionally slow response matches the way food warms, so short spikes in air temperature from door openings do not trigger false concern. It reads -20 to 100 °C, with type K accuracy of ±0.5 °C between 0 and 100 °C.
