Unlike the other aluminium sets, the DeFelsko STDA3 A3 certified coated metal plates start at 75 µm rather than zero, running up to 500 µm (20 mils). DeFelsko matches this set to PosiTector 200 and 200 B ultrasonic gauges, for checking their accuracy and operation.

- Coating/substrate: epoxy on aluminium (non-ferrous)
