The DeFelsko PRBFNDS is the PosiTector 6000 FNDS probe, sold as the probe only, so a PosiTector gage body is required. It is a cabled duplex probe that reports the paint and zinc layer thicknesses of a duplex system (paint or powder over galvanising) in a single reading, measuring coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, recognising the substrate automatically over a 0–1500 µm (0–60 mils) range. Coating inspectors and QC staff fit it to an existing Standard or Advanced body, since every PosiTector body accepts every probe.
