The DeFelsko PRBFN is the PosiTector 6000 FN probe, sold as the probe only, so a PosiTector gage body is required. It is an integral combination probe that measures on any metal, switching between ferrous and non-ferrous automatically, measuring coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, recognising the substrate automatically over a 0–1500 µm (0–60 mils) range. Coating inspectors and QC staff fit it to an existing Standard or Advanced body, since every PosiTector body accepts every probe.
