The DeFelsko PEN is the PosiPen, a pen-sized magnetic pull-off coating thickness gauge. Its very small magnet can be placed precisely on tiny parts, peaks and valleys to measure non-magnetic coatings such as paint, enamel, plating and hot-dip galvanising on steel. It needs no batteries, which makes it popular with platers, powder coaters and refinery inspectors for quick spot checks.
