Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko N45S3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 N45S probe, a 45° microprobe for coatings on non-ferrous metal substrates. With the N45S fitted, the gauge reads 0–625 µm (0–25 mils). For awkward non-ferrous parts, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
