Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko N3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 N probe, an integral probe for non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous metals such as aluminium and copper. With the N fitted, the gauge reads 0–1500 µm (0–60 mils). For coatings on aluminium and copper, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
