Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko FTS3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 FTS probe, a cabled probe for thick protective coatings on ferrous metal substrates. With the FTS fitted, the gauge reads 0–6 mm (0–250 mils). For thick coatings on ferrous metal, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
