Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko FNGS3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 FNGS probe, a cabled probe for very thick non-conductive coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. With the FNGS fitted, the gauge reads 0–63.5 mm (0–2.5 in). For very thick coatings on all metals, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
