Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko FN3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 FN probe, an integral combination probe for coatings on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. With the FN fitted, the gauge reads 0–1500 µm (0–60 mils). For coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
