Built on the Advanced gage body, the DeFelsko FHXS3 combines it with the PosiTector 6000 FHXS probe, the Xtreme high-range cabled probe for non-conductive coatings on steel. With the FHXS fitted, the gauge reads 0–10,000 µm (0–400 mils). For thick coatings on hot or rough steel, this configuration helps inspectors who report against SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 or IMO PSPC and transfer data by WiFi or Bluetooth.
