This 5 MHz, 1/4 in high temperature dual element transducer (T-042-2700) is fitted with a potted connection on the top. It is highly damped and supports ThruPaint measurement. Dakota rates it to a maximum of 343°C (650°F).

Dakota lists steels, glass and thin plastics as suitable materials for 5 MHz dual element probes. One crystal sends and a second receives, which suits corrosion checks where only one side is reachable.
