The LD 450 turns the ultrasonic noise from leaks in pressurised pipe systems into an audible frequency, finding leaks too small to see or hear from several metres away. A soundproof headset keeps the signal clear in noisy plants, and an integrated laser pointer helps aim at the leak. It meets class I requirements of ASTM E1002-05, the standard test method for leaks with ultrasound.
