The VA 550 is an insertion thermal mass flow sensor for pipes from 3/4in to DN 1000, used to log consumption and analyse leakage flows, and also suited to portable measurement. All wetted parts are stainless steel inside a robust aluminium housing, and ATEX + IECEx or DVGW approved versions are available for natural gas, hydrogen or biogas. It installs through a standard 1/2in ball valve, even under pressure.
