This DS 400 dew point set is assembled for monitoring medical compressed air. The European Pharmacopoeia monograph on medical air lowers the permitted dew point to -46 °C atmospheric, equal to 67 ppm V/V, a value that corresponds to the condensation point at 200 bar and 11 °C. Water content is limited to that condensation point because condensed water can cause corrosion damage and encourage microbial growth. The set brings together a chart recorder, dew point sensor, measuring chamber and pressure sensor.
