For larger plants such as refineries, pharmaceutical, petrochemical or food and beverage sites, the Crowcon Sensitron Multiscan++ S2 128 handles up to 128 detector inputs and 256 outputs. It is SIL2 certified, carries 8 relays on board and uses Galileo or Modbus on the field side with Modbus for supervision. Sensitron detectors can connect directly on the RS485 bus.
