The Crowcon IRmax in its detector-only form measures 158 x 75 x 57 mm and weighs 1.58 kg, giving fail-safe infrared detection of methane, butane, propane and other hydrocarbons. It uses under 1 W because its optics are not heated; Stay-ClIR coating stops condensation instead. The 4-20 mA output suits nearly any control system, with Modbus and HART as options.
