Fitted with an intrinsically safe barrier module, this IRmax version (261 x 75 x 57 mm, 2.4 kg) can be checked and calibrated with an IS hand-held or remote display mounted up to 3 m away. Test gas can then be applied without direct access to the detector head, which helps where the head is hard to reach.
