Brannan ASN040 is an adjustable needle valve type pressure snubber that shields pressure instruments from sudden pressure changes, surges and fluctuations. An external adjustment screw lets the damping be set for a specific process, improving gauge reading accuracy and extending instrument service life. It is rated up to 400 bar and -20 to 120 °C, for oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, water and wastewater, hydraulic machines, compressors, and clean air, gases and non-crystallising liquids.
