Brannan 33/404/0 is the plain plastic-cased clip-on pipe thermometer, supplied without a bezel and with a plastic window. Its 63 mm dial reads 0 to +120 °C/°F, and the spring provided clamps it to hot or chilled water pipes between 20 and 50 mm across. As it measures from outside the pipe wall, the dial carries a factory adjustment to track the water inside, and Brannan advises against laboratory calibration.
