Reaching 0 to +200 °C/°F, Brannan 33/402/0 has the highest range of the plastic-cased clip-on pipe thermometers, making it suited to hot as well as chilled water lines. The 63 mm bimetal dial has a glass window, and the web listing describes a stainless steel bezel. A spring holds it against pipes from 20 to 50 mm in diameter. Brannan sets an adjustment at the factory so that the external reading closely follows the internal water temperature; laboratory calibration is therefore not advised.
