The Brannan 13/800/3 Legionella kit helps employers and landlords with the legally required risk assessment for Legionnaires' disease bacteria by measuring water temperatures in pipes and tanks. The bacteria multiply in water systems between 20 and 45 °C, so temperature checks show where conditions may favour growth. A waterproof IP68 probe thermometer gives accurate spot readings, while a clip-on-pipe dial gives a continuous indication and can reveal poor flow or stagnant dead legs.
