Covering 0.70 to 0.80 SG, the Brannan 10/941/0 belongs to the M100 series of general purpose specific gravity hydrometers. It compares the relative density of a liquid with that of water, so this 0.70–0.80 model is intended for liquids lighter than water. The 10/941/0 is 250 mm long, divided in 0.002 SG steps over a 0.100 SG span, and adjusted at 60 °F (15.6 °C). Like the other M100 instruments, the 10/941/0 is similar to hydrometers in ISO 650 and in the now superseded 1960 issue of BS 718.
