High-performance self-lubricating bearings and non-abrasive scraper seals are features of ASCO series G450 cylinders with tie rods ISO15552. While the rod is enclosed in a hard chrome steel material that provides greater protection and longer service life, the tie rods are composed of hard anodized aluminum. For these kinds of cylinders, filtered or unfiltered inert gas or air is strongly advised.
