The ASCO E290D0230SA0000 is a Series 290 pneumatic angle seat valve designed for general-purpose on/off control in 1/2" process lines.
The valve is normally closed, keeping the line shut until pilot air lifts the disc. Flow enters under the disc, and the valve provides a Kv value of 5.8 (Cv 6.7), with a listed water flow rate of 96 l/min at a 1 bar differential pressure.
Its AISI 316L stainless steel body is suitable for air, inert gases, water, steam and light oils where the specified materials are compatible with the media. The valve supports up to 16 bar differential pressure for air and liquids and up to 10 bar for steam.
The 50 mm glass-fibre-reinforced PA actuator provides a compact and lightweight design, with the complete valve weighing approximately 0.9 kg. PTFE is used for the disc seal and stuffing box, while an FPM wiper seal protects the AISI 431 stainless steel stem.
